“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane’s dictation was quite fast along in here, and I finally had to ask for relief. This is the first time such a situation has developed in some time. Usually it takes place when witnesses are present.)

We find here an almost instant regeneration, a seemingly instant cure, a point from which the organism almost miraculously begins to improve. The same happens however in less startling cases where, for example, a merely annoying condition of health will suddenly disappear.

Dreams are indeed symptomatic of the personality’s overall condition at any given time, but they also help form that condition. The connections here are extremely complicated, and yet use of suggestion in bringing about constructive changes through dreams can be of great benefit.

Dr. Instream understands, I am sure, that we are not only involved here with inner perceptions, and with translations that must be made as data is given by me to Ruburt, but we are also working within human limitations, and of course with human potentialities.

Here are some given impressions. A hat on a tall rack, a single rack with offshoots on it. A message having to do with a boy. The message directed to Dr. Instream. Perhaps the initials B. M. (Pause.)

A mistake of sorts connected here somewhere. Two people, and a look out.

(Jane tells me that “a mistake of sorts connected here somewhere” could refer to a mix-up concerning the room we had rented at the motel, but I do not recall this personally. It was nothing serious, Jane said, but a bookkeeping error on the part of the motel room clerk, to the effect that our room had been reserved for someone else, in advance; we were to be moved to another room, she said, but the transfer never took place. There was no unpleasantness involved.

(Jane said the key point here is that although she had these images of her own, she did not give voice to them as part of Seth’s data; she was able to appreciate the difference. She said it is difficult for her to learn to use herself to the proper degree in interpreting Seth’s material, without interfering with it.

A note here to Dr. Instream. This material is more illuminating because Ruburt is in training, so to speak; because the ways in which the personality receives, interprets and translates inner perceptions are more obvious now than they will be at a later date.
