SESSION 176

(On the evening of August 5, Thursday, Jane and I mailed Dr. Instream a copy of the 175th session, held August 4,1965, and asked him to check the telepathic/clairvoyant information on pages 176-77. We had not heard from Dr. Instream recently, up to the time we mailed the letter.

(Jane’s clairvoyant experiences continue. Some are more complete than others and can happen at any time of the day. Some appear while she is awake and active, others when she is in a drowsy state. They have been appearing often enough recently so that she now keeps a separate record of them. See also the notes at the beginning of the 173rd session.

(See pages 131, for Friday, July 9,1965, and 177 and above for Friday, August 6, for the two latest examples of my experience of physical enlargement. I mentioned them to Jane just before the session tonight in hopes that Seth would mention them.

(On Sunday afternoon, August 8, Jane and I attended the funeral of my Aunt Ella Buck in Wellsburg, NY, a nearby small town. Ella was my father’s sister and died at 88. My mother and father and my brother Loren and his wife and son were also there. I had seen very little of Aunt Ella over the years, and Jane had met her twice, as best we can recall. I thought it might be interesting to ask Seth to comment on Ella, so I also mentioned this subject just before the session.

(The session was a quiet one and was held in our small back room. Jane spoke while sitting down, with her eyes closed and in a rather rapid manner, throughout the session. Occasionally she used pauses. Her voice was quiet to begin with, but where indicated it began to deepen. It did not acquire much more volume. This manifestation reminded me somewhat of the deeper voice effect Jane showed in the 172nd session. In that session Seth stated that it would become natural and easy for Jane to speak in that manner.)

(I have long been aware that questions usually slow up the flow of the material, and have refrained from very many questions since the early sessions.

(The shuffling Seth refers to above may have to do with the material on time and the electrical field. See the following sessions among others: 122, 123, 125, 126, 128, 131, 135. According to them, Seth would have to sort through blocks of electrical intensities in order to lift out individual bits of information.)

We are involved here somewhat in a basic problem, hardly Ruburt’s alone, that will some day take up many sessions. For like does indeed attract like. If you hate, you will be hated. You will attract hate.

I will now close this evening’s session, and we will return to our previous discussions at our next meeting. I wish you both the heartiest good evening. And I look out for you two. I would help Ruburt if the need arose.

(When Jane began to speak again she was lying down; she had stretched out to relax for a moment after the regular session. Now she removed her glasses, propped her head up with one hand, and began to speak from this prone position. She had briefly used a prone position once before, in the unscheduled 129th session, witnessed by Judy and Lee Wright. Now, her voice was quiet, her eyes closed. Resume at 10:33.)
