(Once again the session was held in our quiet back room. Both of us felt somewhat tired, but attributed it to the weather, which has been cloudy and oppressive for the past few days. Jane and I try to ignore such factors consciously, but have no doubt we feel the psychic effects of weather as much as anybody else.

Such a change of focus demands a concentration in one area to the exclusion, as a rule, of other areas. In the waking state you are usually not aware of your dreaming existence. In your dreaming existence your physical environment is replaced by your dream environment. You react to both environments whenever you are concentrated within them. Our study of the dream state will take us into many other discussions, for you will learn much about the nature of uncamouflaged reality.

Their action is inhibiting at your end. The weather has also a connection here, and your moods are affected by both. The period should be over by three o’clock, approximately, tomorrow afternoon, when the conditions dissipate, or begin to dissipate.

We will now close a very brief session. My fondest regards to you both.

(On the above evening I again experienced a feeling of enlargement in parts of my body. This was very similar to my experience of July 9,1965, at Oswego State University College in Oswego, NY. See page 131. Both experiences seem to be related to sound, and both took place in the small hours of the night after I had been sleeping for some time, then awakened. In each case Jane slept on beside me.
