“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(This morning before the alarm rang, Jane found herself having an experience in which she was standing amid gray-white smoke. She knew she was not dreaming, and was possibly in a drowsy state again. She smelled the smoke. She appeared to be the observer here, yet felt a quick sense of panic, and when this appeared the experience ended. She saw nothing else and heard nothing.

(Jane’s pace tonight was much slower than the previous two sessions. Again she used pauses, a few of them very long. She spoke while sitting down and with her eyes closed. Her voice was average.)

We find, on Ruburt’s part, a much less violent reaction to springtime than the reaction which in the past was more or less characteristic with him.

The previous overviolent response was caused by a difficulty, among other things, in handling chemical changes, both in the atmosphere and in the physical body. The difficulty, however, was caused by a psychological tension, and an inability to utilize added energies.

(Break at 9:29. Jane was dissociated as usual for a first delivery. She resumed in the same normal voice, but at a faster pace, at 9:38.)

(Break at 10:07. Jane was well dissociated. She had spoken at a faster rate. She also said that as she spoke she had received the feeling of a concept from Seth. It was difficult for her to put into words. It had something to do with her perception of two identical masses of landscape, one being meant to duplicate the other. At the same time, she said, the duplicating mass would have to displace another equal mass to make room for the duplication.

The thought received in telepathic communications will not, therefore, be the exact thought that was transmitted, but a close approximation, a creative distortion, actually created by the receiver. There are, as I mentioned, no duplication of identities.

Now. Compare a thought, an original thought, with our original landscape. The problem would be then the same problem with which our artist was concerned.

(End at approximately 10:50. Jane was well dissociated. She said Seth felt very good, and could have carried on indefinitely.)
