I am usually able to escape the personal subconscious area in general. However, as you know I speak only for convenience, for there are no real barriers to separate these layers. They are simultaneous areas, that merge one into the other. For an analogy you may say that upon some occasions, though few, Ruburt’s personal subconscious layer expands so that I must travel through portions of it, and at other times it contracts and bothers me not at all.

Again, it goes without saying that I am not physically traveling through like a man on horseback through foreign territory. The traveling involves merely a change of focus, both on my part and somewhat on Ruburt’s part, for he is far from inactive, far from being a passive receiver.
