(Since Seth gave us the material on therapeutic dreams last Wednesday, I began suggesting that I would experience one, as I was in a bad mood generally speaking and had been for a week; also I felt poorly with aches and pains etc.; nothing serious but annoying.

(At 10:30 AM, I checked the clock and I awoke at 11 AM, so the following two dreams took place within the half-hour period. The first dream was entirely forgotten until I had completed writing my notes on the second dream, then I recalled the first one.
(The first one was not pleasant. The second one left me with strong feelings of joy and discovery, seemingly out of all proportion to the dream itself.

(I am in our living room. It seems very dark, with two rather than three windows, and the middle one is blocked partially. I look again and now it is bigger and brighter than it ever was; the third window is back, but now it is moved out further, extending the room several feet. [Actually this must have to do with our hopes of having our kitchen enlarged.]

(I laugh. These people all like me very much. I leap with more than normal grace down from the banister. One man puts an arm out to assist me. Again, full of joy, great joy, it seems, I look forward to looking at the other apartments. Then I remember that it is nearly lunchtime, and Rob will be home. I decide to go home myself and then return to look at these apartments.
(Outside there is still another apartment house that belongs to our landlord. A door is open. I look inside, see furniture, and know it is not vacant. Now it is raining slightly. I drop my cigarettes, pick them up, then discover that I also have an extra pack I did not know about. One pack is wet, but will dry. The other pack is only slightly wet.

(I awoke, still full of good spirits, my previous mood completely vanished. Until I wrote this dream down, I did not even remember the first one. The mood of the second prevailed.)
