“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(After supper this evening Jane told me she thought Seth might talk about dreams and the subconscious at the session. In the event that Seth might do this, and also discuss our dreams, as he has mentioned doing by way of illustrating the material, I read to Jane just before the session began two very vivid dreams that I have had within the last two weeks, involving my father and other members of my family. The material I read to Jane was from my dream notebook, which I have finally begun.

(Jane was not nervous before the session. She is, also, taking Seth’s advice and not writing for three days after leaving the gallery. This is her first day home, and she has begun to paint our apartment by way of diversion.

(As session time neared I lay my dream notebook on the table, as Seth had suggested we do. Jane began dictating on time, in a voice somewhat stronger than usual. Her delivery was average, her pacing slow, her eyes quite dark. And again, she began without wearing her glasses.)

(Here Jane smiled broadly as she paced about.)

(Now Jane began to speak with much emphasis, and if anything her voice became a little stronger. She appeared to choose her words with great care. Her delivery did not speed up however.)

(Break at 9:30. Jane was fully dissociated. She said that for some reason she was aware that when the session began she would be “far-out” right away. She had not told me before the session began, but now admitted that she had been very tired by 9 PM, after painting all day. But now she felt fine.

(Jane’s voice remained at times quite loud, but her delivery became slower.)

(Jane looked at me. It was 9:58. My hand was in fact tiring, but I denied it because I thought Seth wanted to continue in order to make some particular point.)

(Break at 10:05. Jane was again fully dissociated. She now put her glasses back on. She resumed in the same strong voice, and at a faster rate, at 10:12.)

(Jane laughed and knocked upon the table for emphasis.)

(Jane spoke leaning close to me, quite amused. It was 10:36, and again I answered in the negative although my hand was tired, thinking she wanted to make a particular point.)

(Break at 10:46. Jane was dissociated as usual. She said she had indeed painted too long today; but although she was tired before the session began, she feels fine now. She said she could feel Seth close by now, but that he would end the session soon. She resumed in the same forceful manner at 10:49.)

(End at 11:07. Jane was dissociated as usual. She had been all night, she said, otherwise she wouldn’t have gotten by the first fifteen minutes of the session because of her weariness. My writing hand was very tired, in fact almost cramped.)
