This is entirely within Ruburt’s natural ability. However controls adopted during this life made his abilities late in showing themselves, and now training and confidence must be given before he can spontaneously adapt himself.

As it is, he does not have sufficient inner confidence to give reign to his abilities, for changing his focus point. It was the outlet of creative writing, early adopted, that saved him from becoming a most rigid and frozen personality; and if he had adopted such a stonelike ego, then indeed he would now be in dangerous circumstances, since his strong creative nature would finally and disastrously have shattered the stone image.

Finding you Joseph, as a partner, and a complete psychic and sexual partnership, also helped deliver him from such an eventuality. He would have finally used his psychic abilities in any case, but they would have under those conditions been tools, or used as tools of the personal subconscious in diverse ways, shattering beyond repair the unity and integrity of the personality.

Without his blocking therefore, he would have access to the previous three lives that he has lived, and in detail. And since his abilities are strong, he would also have access to your previous three lives, since he picks up much information from you telepathically.

The Frank Watts material represented communication on the first level of undifferentiated fields. Both Ruburt and Frank Watts were experimenting. According to an individual’s abilities and development, he can change his focus so that it encompasses realities further and further from the concern of the ego, and in this Ruburt has come far. The phrase “give unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s” is a good one. You see I am better acquainted with biblical phrases than either of you.

This is as it should be. It is only because his abilities and his faith in you are so strong that we can put the material safely to the test, and he will become more freely accessible to the use of his own abilities as time goes by.

I am suggesting that psychological time experiments be again adopted for you both. Ruburt has great faith in such experiments when they are successful and when he knows I am not connected with them. The autumn will be an auspicious season in this respect. When our next session arrives I will discuss the furthermost level of the subconscious from the present ego, the particular advantage of the undifferentiated levels, and at least begin a discussion of dreams and the types of dreams that spring from the various levels.
