SESSION 147
[... 1 paragraph ...]
(Last Thursday, April 15, as we were driving about Elmira on errands, Jane mentioned to me that she missed trying psychological time. She wondered when, if ever, Seth would allow her to resume. See the 140th session. Jane then received the information, she believes from Seth, to the effect that she might soon be allowed to resume psy-time, but only for fifteen-minute periods, and during the evening when I would be home with her.

(In the 92nd session, of September 28, 1964, Seth predicted the sale of this specific book by name. See page 40. In the 104th session he gave details we think may refer to the offices of F. Fell in NYC, involving a red chair, certain individuals, etc. This material can be shortly checked out. A woman was mentioned as influencing a sale; Jane’s editor, Mara Thomases, is a woman. She was not editor when the manuscript was submitted to F. Fell.
(Seth has predicted sale of the ESP book, and of the material itself many times. The latest was in the 143rd session. See the notes preceding the 138th session for a partial list of such predictions. I will endeavor to compile a complete list of specific statements, by session number, and attach it to a succeeding session.
(Once again Jane spoke while sitting down and with her eyes closed. The session was held in our small back room. She used her now familiar combination of rather rapid delivery, broken by pauses. Her voice was quiet and clear. She began at 8:58.)

(Break at 9:21. Jane was dissociated as usual; that is, she retained a very general idea of what she had been speaking about. Seth has dealt with her smoking habit rather lightly at various times. He was more specific in the 31st and 32nd sessions, tying it in with her past lives. See Volume 1.

I expect everything to go well. This evening’s session will be a short one. Ruburt is quite exhausted, though he may not realize it, and he will be quite recovered by morning. The emotional activity, the contrasts of today, exhausted him, not one thing alone.
This again concerns the nature of action, and I will in our next session begin to discuss the emotions as they are related to, and part of, action. Ruburt’s momentary exhaustion this evening is a simple, natural result here of ordinary counterthrusts of emotional action and reaction.

(Seth had quite a bit to say about the “source of the source” in the 95th session.)

(Break at 9:46. Jane was fully dissociated. Seth introduced the spacious present in the 41st session. Jane resumed in the same manner at 9:58.)

We will have a full session Wednesday. My best regards to you both. You will have most pleasant dreams this evening. And again, all of your energies are in ascendancy.
