“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Recently, just after retiring for the night, Jane had the feeling that momentarily she had left her body. Her actual sensation was one of returning to it. She could not say where she had been, if any place else. The sensation was extremely brief, she said, and hard to describe. Indeed, she had forgotten about it until just before tonight’s session.

(Jane now misses trying psychological time quite a bit. It will be remembered that Seth suggested she give up this practice on March 15, 1965, with the comment that she had been trying to do too much, too fast. Jane believes the above experience stems from her psy-time experiments, for during some of them she had achieved a similar effect.

(Jane had no idea of the material for the session. Once again she spoke as usual, with her eyes closed. She began in rather a slow manner, but as the session progressed her delivery speeded up somewhat. Her voice was higher than usual.)

(As I was transcribing the above involved sentence from Jane’s dictation I was somewhat aware that it contained incomplete phrases. I thought it best to continue, rather than to backtrack in an effort to straighten it out. As usual my mind was on getting the next word on paper, rather than to critically appraise each one. Jane now took a long pause before resuming.)

(Break at 9:22. Jane was dissociated as usual for a first delivery. She remembered the last bit of the material. She resumed in a deeper voice and in a slower manner at 9:29.)

(Jane now took one of her very long pauses. For well over a minute she sat quite still, her eyes closed.)

(Break at 9:59. Jane was well dissociated. She remembered none of the material. Her last delivery was broken by some very long pauses. She resumed in the same manner at 10:08.)

(Break at 10:36. Jane was well dissociated. Although she had used pauses in her delivery the pace had been fairly fast, and my writing hand was tired. She resumed in the same fast and quiet manner at 10:45.)

(End at 10:55. Jane was well dissociated as usual, and my writing hand was very tired.)
