(See pages 102, 107, 114, 125 and 136 for some predictions of sales concerning Jane’s writings. Page 102 is a psy-time experiment of Jane’s; the rest are statements made during sessions. They range from October 30, 1964 to November 11, 1964. The sessions are 102, 103, 104 and 106. The letter of February 16 to F. Fell was referred to by Seth in the 135th session.

(Once again we held the session in our back bedroom, and found it very peaceful and quiet behind closed doors. Jane had no idea of the material for the session. She spoke while sitting down and with her eyes closed. Her voice was quiet and clear throughout the session. Her rate of delivery was again quite slow; some of her pauses were long. She began speaking at 9:01.)

Once more, action is not a force outside that acts upon matter. Action is, instead, the inside vitality of the inner universe. It is the dilemma between inner vitality’s desire and impetus to completely materialize itself, and its inability to completely do so. This was also discussed briefly in sessions dealing with the first appearance of matter within the physical field.

This first dilemma results in action, and from action’s own working upon itself we have seen that identity was formed, and that these two are inseparable. We will discuss the second dilemma after your break. I suggest your break now.

(Break at 9:27. Jane was well dissociated. She said she believes she is farther “out” when the sessions are very slow, as tonight. The pauses could last for an hour as far as she is concerned or knows.

(Break at 10:02. Jane reported she was as well dissociated as she has ever been. She used to be afraid that when she was “way out” she would be empty, but she has discovered the state is not like that at all.

(Indeed, Jane said, although she now thinks she was aware of this grasping of concepts in the last session, she did not mention it because her conscious awareness of it was so fleeting. Even now, she cannot say how long during the session itself she is involved in this manner. It is a very rich experience. Jane also believes the quiet back room we now use for the sessions is very helpful.

(Break at 10:31. Jane was dissociated. She feels she has attained a visceral knowledge of concepts, meaning that she feels them within. She also realized she was aware of what she dictated to me during the session, although not the word-for-word order of the material. She called this a psychological experience. She obtained the information one way, and passed it on to me another way.

[... 13 paragraphs ...]

(End at 10:58. Jane was again well dissociated.

[... 1 paragraph ...]

(Jane thinks that tonight her ego didn’t experience anything, although some part of her did. She thinks her ego gave at least tacit consent. And yet her ego assimilated the experience. She feels that this evening’s session was good because of her experience with past sessions. She felt light at times during the session. At times she was not conscious of being in her body; yet neither was she conscious of being anyplace else.
