Mental activity does demand more energy of one kind than does physical activity, and the reason here is a rather strange one, in that in many respects creative work demands the extra energy used in a sort of repression. The ideas, for example, are not directly carried out or fully constructed in a material way.

Now. I used the above analogy to make the point that I made. However, there is also an important difference here that will be rather delicate in the telling.

We are merely adding dimensions of actuality here that your tree does not have, and we are also adding a differential mobility which your tree does not possess.

There is something else here also, concerning the appearance of time, that I could not have undertaken with you earlier, since you would not have understood it. It is an important point, and it will be the last main point that we will cover this evening.

As for me, I have been around now, here, for quite a while myself, and have found the experience most enjoyable. It is because I hope for many years of such sessions that I am not overly concerned with the length of any particular group of sessions.
