(Jane was somewhat tired before the session began, and had no idea of the material that might be covered.
(Shortly before the session was due I mentioned that I hoped Seth would clear up the discrepancy concerning the date of his birth. It was given as 1486 in the last session. We think it should be 1586, to tally with material given in various previous sessions.

My friend’s manner was meant as a gentle reprimand to me, and as a joke between us, since I had told him that I did not want him to confuse you, or to discuss matters being covered in our material.

(End at 10:17. Jane was dissociated as usual. As she sat down she said, “He may have said good night, but he isn’t gone yet. ‘Night, Seth.” We sat quietly for a minute or two in case Jane resumed dictation. Then she announced that Seth was gone.
(Jane ended the session with a smile. Evidently she picked up my thought about conversing with Seth’s friends. As I took her dictation I was wondering just how we would go about speaking with more than one entity at a session. She then answered my thoughts in closing out the session.

(December 1, Tuesday, 11:30 AM: Excellent state. Toward the end of the period I had the definite feeling that I could rise. It was equal over all the body.
(December 2, Wednesday, 11:30 AM: Again a good state achieved. I “saw” a white-covered table, with an item on it. I wanted to see what it was. I then had the feeling that I glided over to the table, in some fashion, since I did approach the table. I saw that the item was a hamburger; then it faded. The sandwich wasn’t very thick looking. [I also had, slightly, that feeling of being hit on the top of the head.]
