It is of course true that within our rather rigid schedule we miss some excellent occasions for sessions, as far as Ruburt is concerned. That is, we miss instances when his abilities are at high peak. Yet overall we balance out fairly well. And particularly in the beginning such regularity is important.

When a particular situation arises, or when his abilities are unusually attuned, we have in the past held unscheduled sessions, and I have always attempted to compensate by cutting the next one short, or cutting it out entirely.

In any state of dissociation any individual is more sensitive to inner data. This sensitivity varies in accordance to the ability of the individual in general in this line, which is why I make the point. In an intimate gathering of close friends, if a few glasses of wine are drunk, and if Ruburt happens to then be increasingly aware of inner data, there is not anything out of the way in holding a session, if this happens only occasionally. Indeed a judicious (underline judicious) use of wine is somewhat beneficial, but never to be overdone, and this is very important.

Now if, and this has occurred, Ruburt finds his abilities unusually attuned, and circumstances are advantageous, it is perfectly legitimate to hold a session, though it is not a scheduled one. I will automatically make adjustments. This refers to sessions with or without witnesses.

The increased appearance of his ability creatively, as seen in his own writing, should be apparent to you Joseph, and is objectively apparent in the letters he has received. The increased focus of his abilities I predicted during an unscheduled session, if you recall. His short stories dating approximately from that time display a much increased facility and knowledge.

Such results are also now showing in your own work. The understanding and inner freedom is enabling you to use more and more facets of your own ability, and to develop these further.

(This, I can testify, is certainly true. In recent weeks alone, my work has improved remarkably; I am objective enough about it to be able to see this. In several recent paintings I have solved problems, almost effortlessly it seems, that I have been contending with for years. It may be coincidence that the studies are finally paying off, but it is also interesting that it should happen at this particular time. At times while working recently, I have had an almost magical ability to achieve whatever it was I wanted to do.)
