(However, I then succeeded in doing something I had wanted to do for a long time. I remembered to ask his name, and as I did so I discovered it was no effort at all. The man replied, without turning around, that it was Daniel Murphy. I then asked his age; he said 42. I then told him my name, and he repeated it. After this I believe I asked him to contact me, but this becomes fuzzy and vague. There was more but it was indistinct and is totally forgotten now.
