At the end of the session Jane said she got to her feet because she felt very dissociated sitting down; she was talking with her eyes closed and felt that she might slip into a trance. She said that Seth didn’t care about her position. I thought, though, that it was more than coincidence that Jane became more active, considering the subject matter of the next paragraph.)
