I was surprised to see that she looked more than a little queasy. “That’s the first time that ever happened: I started to feel really sick, as though the material really got to me while he was giving it. Toward the end there was a strain, involving things I couldn’t translate. As though I was on the edge of getting some great stuff I’ve never heard of before. I still feel that way….
