Now if you take any number of layers of consciousness and layer them in this manner, you should realize that each of them has adjacent levels of consciousness on either side, so to speak, so that it is not simply a matter of going up and down as if you were playing with scales. But you can also choose any number of adjacent areas, and there are interconnections between them. But since you must start somewhere, we will start with Alpha I and not with Alpha II.
