Vera’s attitude is different and, therefore she will not take one organ or position of the body and so strongly use it as a symbol. You will have instead symptoms and an overall undifferentiated feeling. She will not incapacitate herself in that manner. This is a tangent to your own position also. The immediacy, the feeling of urgency, is not here in the same way that it is over here (Rachel). The same freedom, however, is involved. You need to realize that you are (Vera) completely free to so change your position. Whether or not you change it is not important. That you feel completely free to change it is important. If the dilemma continued for any length of time, you could then develop a chronic ailment, though not of an incapacitating manner.
