Now, although I admit I usually come to you with a voice like a musical thunder, with a voice that seems to weigh a thousand pounds, that seems to plop into the room, yet I can also come lightly as a leaf and be here when you do not know. (Florence tried to smother a cough and Seth boomed out.) You may cough to your heart’s content. You may all cough and have a coughing session!!

Now, do not walk so heavily the paths of earth. Walk lightly. The weight you carry is not physical. It is not physical pounds that weigh you down. Your own identities will enlighten you. There is no need for you to concentrate so avidly and exclusively upon the physical paths. You have walked other paths.

There is no reason to fear your inner selves. It is to your inner selves that I speak. They will not betray you, only betray you with truth and that is an honor indeed. The light will not blind your eyes but open new eyes you do not know you possess, give you freedom you do not know... Only truth will give you a sense of humor.

Now discipline is knowing how to use spontaneity and only the fear of blessed spontaneity brings sadness, for it impedes progress and puts boulders in your path. Step lightly. You leap from truth to truth. Truths are not heavy. They are light. They are light in weight and in illumination. They fill you without effort. Truth keeps you sitting upright in your chairs and the blood pounding in your veins and allows me to come to this room. If you hide behind a tree in a game of hide and seek, then truth is the tree. It is you who think you hide, for it is a part of you and all that you are. It is you as much as it is me and it is abundant and spontaneous and is not controlled.
