Now. He is not as scintillating as I am—but he has his reasons.

His thoughts are not translated in those terms because you cannot rightfully call them thoughts in the way you are accustomed to thinking of thoughts. Now, a thought to him is a creative experience. What he thinks immediately is. It is not that he is cold, he has a different kind of thermal quality. He is vast. I am old, but he is vast.

Now, I happen to like my worlds better. Otherwise, I would not come here so often. I have always dealt with emotion, but he deals with those realities that make emotions possible.

This “other personality” is aware that a part of himself is filtering down, and in his own way he is aware of you and of the room. But he is not aware of you as you know yourselves, and he is scarcely aware of me as I know myself. He is aware of me, but in another context, and in another dimension of existence.

I should tell you that I am sorry that I kept you so long last week. My friend Ruburt has been telling me that I must apologize. And I should tell you that I have deep sympathy—but your time is not my time. I do try to take it into consideration. And yet those issues that might bring me to you in a session, have nothing to do with time as you consider it. Now I will let you take a rest period, but I have not said good evening, and you can all be comfortable. Our friend will not be speaking to you this evening, and he is not a bogey man.

(Brad said that he had brought it but he had not drunk it during a previous class.)

Ruburt would not let me take advantage of it because he does not like brandy, but if it were here!

But they are the characteristics in your terms that were mine a long time ago, and I don them again as an old garment that is familiar and dear.

It is up to you to look for these signposts. Ruburt’s personality is a walk [warphandwritten in margin], in dimensions, but your personalities are also walks [warps] in dimensions... and you can look inward. You will find old friends, but you will find more than old friends and they will help you in your search.

All of you are a part of many times and many places. If you would put aside these selves that you take for granted, you could experience your own reality, your own multidimensional reality. These are not fine words that mean nothing. I do not harp to you about theory simply because I want you to spout theory, but because I want you to put these theories into practice for yourselves and discover the selves that are within you.

First, you must understand the nature of what you call reality. To some very small extent, I have begun to explain this in the Seth material. The five hundred and some odd sessions we have, however, barely represent an outline—but they are enough to begin with.

The ideas themselves will start you thinking. Besides the outer senses that you take for granted, you have inner senses. These will enable you to perceive reality as it exists independently of the physical matter that you know. You must learn how to use, develop and recognize these inner senses. The methods are given in the material. But you cannot utilize the material until you understand it.

You must first of all cease identifying yourself completely with your ego. You must not just listen to my words but realize not only that you are more than your ego, but that you can perceive more than your ego perceives. You demand more of yourself than you have ever demanded in your life.

There are other ways—far more difficult, and you are not ready for those, but you are ready for the methods that I have given if you are willing to work. And yet by work, I mean a joyful endeavor, a spontaneous endeavor. You have simply to allow yourselves to be yourselves.

Now there is something you do not understand, and so I will set you straight. It has been given in our material—I do not want to upset any of you. You have all seen, I suppose, educational TV. Now when you turn on your miraculous contrivance and you see the teacher on the screen, that does not mean that at that moment, the teacher is on the screen. Do you follow me? The teacher is quite legitimate but he is not there when you see him.

Now when your teacher appears on the TV screen, he is not aware consciously of himself within the image that you see. It is completely a taped production. When the same thing happens in our classes, however, I am here—but to a lesser extent than I am at this moment. I am aware of myself, going with our analogy, within the image that you would see on your TV screen.

Now. I am indeed here this evening with more energy and power than a facsimile. But this does not mean that I am not here on those other occasions when you hear me speak. Do you follow me? This has been given in our sessions and Ruburt and Joseph understand it.

Now you believe that you are using your intellectual abilities, but you have only begun to use them. You have not begun to use your intuitional abilities to anything like their true extent.

I tell you to examine what you see and what you hear, not only here in this room and in these classes, but to examine what you see in physical reality in your normal life. The two of you can be of great benefit to each other, but only when you feel free to use your intellectual and intuitional abilities to their full—and do not fell hampered on either side.

I ask you to realize that within yourself is the prime identity that gave birth to your own personalities...and within yourselves there are personalities that you have forgotten. There are personalities that you have not yet become; but you can see, you can see a pathway and you can travel through it.

As I have not been physical for some time, so you are not physical. You only inhabit a body and you presume that you are your body, but you are far more than the body that you know.

You form this physical reality that you know. You have formed your past lives. You will form your future lives, in your terms, but they exist simultaneously now in ultimate reality. Allow yourselves to feel the strength and vitality that is your own. Allow yourselves to recognize the energy of the universe as it flows through your still-physical frames.
