But the other personality that you find so alien is also my own. And the familiarity and the very human characteristics by which you know me are mine, but they are only a small portion of my identity. The energy that is used as I speak to you can be utilized in many ways, and the energy that is yours can be utilized in many ways. Watch the ways you utilize your energy. It goes forth from you and you do not realize consciously how it is going forth and what it is doing. This energy is a protection of your own personality and your own will and of your own spirit. Every man and woman has protection. Your astro-body [sic] is to some extent a projection and a protection. Do not be afraid of vitality nor of your own feeling. Others are protected from your own feeling, as you are protected to a large extent from theirs.
