It seems that our Lady from Florence is not looking inward. It seems that she is not experimenting, it seems that she does not know in some large manner why she is here. Of all of you, she has had the fewest inner experiences, so it would seem, yet she is forbidding her own purposes by being here. And a portion of her personality knows what she is learning. And she knows that I have a spot in my invisible heart for her. And she fulfills a purpose in this class, and in this group, that is highly important, at the same time she is indeed fulfilling inner possibilities and opening roads.

(To Ned:) My nose, young man, is not a moving picture machine. You may look at it to your heart’s content.

I will not give you easy answers, for they will not serve you. I will give you the opportunity to ask the correct questions, for in the past you have not known enough to know what they are. I will not lead those who would follow me blindly. And all of you take that to heart. For in following blindly you learn nothing. I demand that you work. In your own way, and according to your own abilities. But that you use you own individual abilities, and learn how to handle them. And you will. And learn what they are, and you will. And work out the relationship that exists in your immediate families. And both of you will. And learn the significance—the meaning behind the fact that your daughter and your sister are approximately the same age, and you will. They choose that relationship.

Now, I have been a woman in several reincarnations. And [to Brad] so have you. Many of the women here have been men in several reincarnations. You need both. You must be a mother and a father. You must have reincarnations in which you are a mother and a father. You must be both male and female. And had I not been both male and female, I would not be able to speak to you and you and you. For I would be imprisoned within the barriers of sexual perception. And you may change to your heart’s content. It is good for you.
