You need know—you need know nothing—you need know nothing in intellectual terms. You know all behind words, and in parts of you that are beyond speech. You do not need words. You do not need my words—but I speak them. I speak the words so you will realize you do not need them. And looking at you now, it is not that I see through you—it is that I see the yous that you do not realize you are. So lo—your joy and peace—and let it be with you in the old ways of these days, realizing that these days are always—and yet that there are more days than these, and other times and other places. And so peace and joy be with you in all days.

Spontaneity has its own discipline. You do not need to enforce discipline upon it. You need not enforce discipline upon it. Pretend that the bony tissue of your skulls does not exist. And let the energy of All That Is flow through you as indiscriminatelyas clouds through the skies. Do not say, “I will accept this and I will deny this.” The knowledge that is within yourselves knows. You do not have to fear the spontaneous. You do not need to fear that if you allow yourselves freedom you will travel into evil ways. Conscious restraints can lead you into avenues of denial. But the inner selves, knowing their position within All That Is, do not fear denial. What appears to you as evil is a result of your own ignorance. There is purpose in all things. In your spontaneity then, never forget the sacred uniqueness of a shadow upon a road, the shape of a leaf, the stain upon a coffee cup—in these simple things find a hint of your own uniqueness and travel beyond them—and ignore conscious restraint that would bind you. Let the inner intuitive sense speak for it is the inner voice, and the magic that unites you has no need of conscious words.

And then when you hear my voice, you hear your own. And when you feel my presence, you feel your own presence. And there is no need to hide from either. I want you to feel my words imprinted where you cannot take notes safely in a notebook. And I want you to question, but honest questions—not questions that are cover-ups for other questions. And when you have real questions, as you know, I answer them. And when they are not honest questions, I do not answer them. And I do not give you credit for easy answers. I do not give you multiple choices—I want essays. But my essays I want delivered from the inner portion of yourself—that is composed of intuition and intellect. And look up Lady of Florence—I will not let you settle for easy answers. And I will not let you settle for easy questions. And I will not give you easy answers. And I will not give you wonders. I will make you produce your own wonders. And you would not want it otherwise. And that is why we understand each other so well. You have known many who have offered you easy answers and answered your easy questions. But you do not like them as well as you like me.
