“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Actually we have two refrigerators, and since our kitchen is very small we kept the smaller icebox there and the larger one in the bath. The bath is very large, an ornate and tiled affair that was once the master bath of the house before it was converted into apartments.

(From my writing table, to my right of the entrance to our bath, I could look easily at Bill as he sat in our Kennedy rocker, facing the bath entrance itself from the other side of the same door. As Jane continued her delivery I noticed that Bill was staring quite consistently into the open bath doorway; yet I did not pay great attention to this, taking it somewhat for granted that Seth would use Bill/Mark only as a talking point relating to whatever subject he discussed.)

(As soon as break arrived, Bill announced that he had seen an image in the doorway of the bath; it was this that had drawn his attention as Jane dictated. [...]

[...] Bill in the meantime kept staring into the open bath doorway, and as before I could see nothing from my position at the table.)

(Jane handed the sketch back to Bill, who continued to stare into the dark bath doorway.)

[...] Even though this light is on the other side of the bath door, due to reflection from the white walls of the room there was plenty of light. [...]

Bathing the lids would be sufficient.

[...] Bathing in the water, as you will of course, will help you both. [...]

[...] I also saw two men, deeply tanned, in bathing suits at water’s edge. [...]

[...] She hadn’t gone to hydro this morning, so Georgia had given her a bath in bed, and cleaned everything up.

In a way I am sorry that this is not the place to discuss the Second World War (1939–45), for it was also the result of a sense of powerlessness which then erupted into a mass blood bath on a grand scale. [...]

(Now as the discussion progressed the three of us sat in the living room around our coffee table, staring into the open bath door and exchanging half-joking remarks about apparitions. [...]

He tries to be independent in the bath, for example—a healthy attempt. [...]

[...] Terry, who puts Jane through the hydro bath, told her she looks well and was easier to move. [...]

[...] 6/8, 4:30 PM: Glimpse of Jane and I in bathing suits on long beach similar to those at Daytona. [...] Jane was swinging some kind of big bath towel or beach blanket around. [...]

[...] Seth’s recent remark, that she was beginning to gain weight again, had alerted me to it, although I’d noticed in recent weeks that Jane was much too thin—when I helped her put on a shirt, take a bath, etc. [...]

He was bathed in that light, however, filled with it, refreshed by it, and given new comprehensions that will now emerge in his experience in a piecemeal fashion that can be assimilated in his normal frame of reference. [...]
