(We haven’t paid any attention to the last session, for December 26, 1977, yet it contains a line that I’ve thought of often since it came through: “Ruburt....constantly concentrates upon what is still wrong.” [...]

In like manner you explore the mental and feeling aspects, then you turn your attention “outward,” toward the environment that results from this alternate present. [...]

Again, that belief in the need for control is rooted in the earlier concepts of the Sinful Self (long pause)—concepts that have come to the fore in current contemporary world events with the new attention being given to religious cults and religions. [...]

As far as physical therapy is concerned, if you gave hot water packs—plain towels, or Frank’s gadget—either one—the same or even half the attention you gave the cold water baths, this would now be of excellent immediate benefit. [...]

Just because your attention is no longer focused upon such realities, this does not mean that they do not continue to exist.

In Framework 1, it does take some time for new habits to form, but even there constructive suggestions accelerate as beliefs change, so I would like you both to pay particular attention to the suggestions that operate in your lives.
