(Coupled with all of these things is the three-part article we’re reading in The New Yorker on the travails of publishing these days; the large sums involved, books being treated as “products,” etc. [...]

5. Seth’s statement reminded me of an article I read in a newspaper a few years ago. [...]

(I think that some of the material in tonight’s session is a reflection, or answer, to an article that Jane read this afternoon, in the British Journal for Psychical Research, September 1977. [...]

Both of you, remembering the article you read this evening (about Picasso), should keep in mind the immense energies of the inner self to solve such problems, to set the personality aright, and literally get it back on its feet. [...]

[...] The article also included information about the Seth material. [...]

[...] And Tam was interviewed today by Jim Poett who is still tracking down witnesses relative to the article he’s doing on Seth and us for the Village Voice. [...]

(Pause.) You had some time ago an old newspaper article you had saved, on the dangers of using the words “should” or “would” too often—and there is perhaps nothing else you could do that is as detrimental to the true development of the natural self. [...]

3. Jane’s mention of possession came about because today I’d read her an article in a scholarly journal we subscribe to. [...]
