I’m learning that both elements are important in my work and in Seth’s. And perhaps my own refusal to accept pat answers leads me to search so intensely, and is responsible to some degree for my “bringing in” a Seth instead of a Mad Hatter.

Much of Jane’s trance material on how individuals use dreams personally came through in answer to a question of mine that we’d often speculated about lately: If most people do not remember their dreams most of the time, of what use can their dreams be to them? (I thought this a neat bit of telepathic exchange, for as I asked Seth the question, I expected to receive just that kind of answer. [...]

You did not see yourselves as people of integrity coming together in love, but as insecure individuals hoping that love could find the answer to fears that you were not willing to face otherwise.

The expressed (underlined) emotional anger, accusation or hurt on Ruburt’s part would automatically, or should, bring out in you an answering emotional statement. Answering in that any hurts or reasons on your part would be expressed with feeling, and the way cleared for an emotional statement of love, regret, or on both of your parts an emotional expression of sorrow for having hurt the other.
