The chemical changes brought about by such outside agents as drugs to some degree rob the inner self of its usual directive abilities, for the changes occur before the inner self has gathered itself together. [...]

[...] He had the ability, very strong creative energies, but he did not have the idea or principle to unite him as a personality and focus his energies. [...]

[...] It is fine and well for me to come here and talk to you, but you are not taking time from your daily activities to develop your own abilities, not to look inward, and you (Theodore) need not be included here. [...]

She had some jumbled psychic abilities, I suppose. [...]

Jane Roberts’s experience to some extent hints at the multidimensional nature of the human psyche and gives clues as to the abilities that lie within each individual. [...]
