(In regard to Seth’s remark, above, that our creative energies would be enhanced with the onset of these latest sessions, here’s the earlier reference he referred to, in the very first session for October 9, 1983: “Your joint creative abilities should also be more aroused because of this session, so that you will have more intuitive breakthroughs on your own, and jointly, that will benefit you both in many ways.” [...]

[...] Not only about Jane’s fine ability to speak in a trance or dissociated state for Seth, that “energy personality essence,” as he calls himself, but about all of the vastly complicated challenges that can, and do, arise in the course of a human life.

The entire Air Force affair thus far has been beneficial, in that Ruburt sees that his abilities can have great application in physical terms. [...]

[...] The conflict arises because he tries to balance this, which grates against his grain, with the hope of, or against the hope of, future possibilities of gaining more independence, and using creative abilities in teaching the children’s classes.

[...] Taking down someone else’s words, verbatim, is to Ruburt, because of his own creative ability an inferior position.

The one exception here would be taking down verbatim the words of someone who Ruburt was convinced had superior creative ability or knowledge.

[...] Seth’s abilities remind me of material I’ve written recently on how certain portions of the personality or psyche must very shrewdly and carefully construct dreams in advance, so that when the dreams are played back they render just the right message to the parts of the psyche that need it. (Then I told her about the article I’d just taken from Science News last night, concerning the abilities of animals, birds and bees to carry maps of their terrain in their heads. [...]

Tonight Ruburt was exhausted, in one way, from comparing your joint beliefs with those of your brother’s family; of checking his own body beliefs (Jane touched her knee) with theirs and seeing where his were detrimental — but also from contrasting his personal psychic and creative abilities with theirs, and that exhilarated him. Your Christ had abilities which I still do not have... [...]
