I find that the climate is more favorable this evening; and much to my amusement I discovered that Ruburt saw fit to collaborate my diagnosis of the condition existing on the left wrist, by speaking to a doctor, who did indeed collaborate my statement.

[...] However, there was a deep sense of bewilderment upon Ruburt’s part with his friend, who is a mother, since neither of them as adolescents considered motherhood as a part of their personal futures.

[...] As of now we have so far mailed the letter to Eleanor re Rich Bed; phoned the ad about a house in to the Elmira paper; obtained the paint for Jane’s workroom; put up new curtains in her room; begun inquiries about the duplication of the letter for readers who write to Jane; packaged the first six chapters of Seth’s book to mail to Tam at Prentice-Hall tomorrow; begun to check the galleys for Oversoul Seven—all of these being items on the list we made out a couple of days ago. (This evening’s material, session and notes, incidentally, answered somewhat frequent speculations of my own: why I had always stressed caution when speaking to others who asked advice about developing matters psychic.

There is no way of measuring the inner experience, or the psychological experience rather, of someone who has lost a friend in death, but you do not deny that such an experience exists. [...]

(Also on Saturday evening Jane and I attended a set of Japanese Noh plays at Elmira College, at the invitation of Bill Macdonnel, who had a part in one of them. [...]

[...] The date did indeed refer to our young friend, who was taken ill that very evening. [...]

In their own way they become what we will call pure emotional constructions, forming patterns that operate through emotional impetus that is received from and transmitted by individuals who thereby discharge and yet direct excesses of emotional energy, which the various personalities can no longer hold within the personal domain.

As I interpret his information on the photographs, then, Jane’s depicts an individual who was to become a probable Jane to the one I know, while mine is pretty much an early version of the self who’s always lived in this reality …)

[...] It was taken by an older lady friend who was treating her to an outing at a spa just outside of the New York State resort of Saratoga Springs, where Jane lived with her bedridden mother, Marie, and a housekeeper. [...]

[...] By now, did those photographs actually depict the immature images of us, the Jane and Rob we knew and had always been, or from our standpoint did they show a probable Jane, a probable Rob — two individuals who long ago had set out upon their own journeys through other realities? [...]

[...] Ruburt’s mother by then wanted a respectable, hopefully rich husband for Ruburt, and could not understand why he chose men who did not conform.

[...] All of those people who might in any way help Ruburt change certain beliefs, for example, are notified in Framework 2, so that the most auspicious psychological events occur, triggering further body releases.
