“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Peggy Gallagher, a feature writer for the Elmira Star-Gazette, is in Washington DC for a few days this week on business. Seth volunteered to give information about Peg’s activities while she is in Washington, and Jane also plans to tune in on Peg via psychological-time experiments. Both of these methods were used with some success during the Gallaghers’ vacation in Puerto Rico last October.

(Apropos of Peggy’s Washington trip, Seth gave predictions when asked to during Friday’s unscheduled session. He also asked the Gallaghers not to say any more about the trip to him, once the subject had been brought up. I took no notes Friday evening, but Peggy did. They accompanied her to Washington, and at Seth’s request she will also make notes while there. There follows a copy of Seth’s material on the trip, as noted down by Peggy:

(Jane and I have yet to prepare Seth’s material on the Puerto Rico experiments, for insertion into the record. We have now decided to present Seth’s hits and near misses only, plus Seth’s data on the Washington experiment, in one of the sessions falling due the week after this.

(Seth gave data on Peggy’s trip in the 214th and the 215th sessions, December 6 and 8. He also gave some preliminary data on the trip during an unscheduled session held on December 3; Peggy took a copy of these predictions with her to Washington. [...] Seth gave them in Peggy’s presence; his score in the two sessions held while she was in Washington was much better.

(Thus Jane and I followed this procedure concerning the data Seth gave on Peggy’s business trip to Washington, DC in December. [...]

[...] We have now obtained a written detailed report on Peggy Gallagher’s trip to Washington, as compared to Seth’s material on Peggy in the last two sessions. [...] She states that the material at the beginning of the Dr. Instream test data, on page 113, applies to a cocktail party she attended in Washington on Monday, December 6. Peggy states Seth’s description here of the cocktail party is quite correct, even to the fact that a woman was the main hostess, and that a man, her husband, was present with her. [...]

(We were not sure that Seth would have any data on Peggy Gallagher during the session, since we thought it possible she had left Washington, DC by now.

(This bit of data was also given to Peggy on Friday, December 3, during the unscheduled session preceding her Washington trip. [...]

[...] After breakfast I called to see if the bank was open today, since I wanted to open the account for Jane’s hospital fund, but it was closed for Washington’s birthday. [...]

[...] Or perhaps connection with Washington—the place, I believe.

(Just before the session, we saw a newscast of a congressional committee in Washington, with some well-known scientists testifying as to the probable aftereffects of nuclear war—how the instigator would also eventually destroy itself even if the attacked never fired a retaliatory strike at all. [...]

[...] Yesterday Frank had told me that it wouldn’t be as easy to see Jean now that it was a 15-hour drive instead of just running down to Washington DC.

He did not like the Washington show at all, or the circumstances, and was upset by that. [...]

(Since September 30 Seth has held two ESP class sessions; held a session for our friend John Barclay, who is moving to Nevada; held two sessions concerning the work Jane and I are embarking upon because of this material; and spoken through Jane upon television once more — this time during our return visit to a Washington, D.C. station.

(Last Thursday night our guest was John Beahrs, a psychiatrist from the Seattle, Washington area. [...]

[...] She also missed a chance to meet the Weissenbuehlers from Big Flats, whom we saw last Friday night, since DJ was in Washington, DC over the weekend. [...]

(I’d been commenting on her call tonight to a psychiatrist—Dr. Beahrs—who’d written her recently from Washington state, and of his informing her that another doctor out there is also using the Seth material ideas in dealing with her patients. [...]
