(On Friday, June 21, 1968, Jane sent the manuscript of her dream book to Parker Publishing Company Inc., Village Square Building, West Nyack, N Y. On Saturday, June 28, a card arrived from Parker with this message:

He tried out new motions, getting up and down from the stool, for example, without his table, and Saturday he reaped certain benefits, getting up surprisingly easy often, and gaining some new confidence.

After Saturday both of you became frightened again, and your joint beliefs and habits of pessimism to some extent at least meant that you began to doubt the gains that had been made. [...]

[...] Saturday, for example, I wasn’t able to get out of the house to go food shopping.)

(At about 8:50 PM Jane received a phone call from Tom Hartley, a newspaper friend of ours, inviting us to a party next Saturday, November 29. [...]

[...] I thought it odd at the time; but since we usually go out on Saturday evening anyhow, the thought of dropping in at the projected party did not unduly disturb.

(Jane and I attended the Hypnosis Symposium at Oswego State University College at Oswego, NY, on Friday evening, July 9th, and on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11, at the invitation of Dr. Instream, codirector. [...]

[...] On Saturday evening he leafed through some of the Seth material briefly, then pronounced it the work of a clever schizophrenic. [...]
