(Early in the morning, Jane said, she had successfully managed to imagine herself back at 458 West Water Street, cleaning the place, washing the windows inside and out, very agilely climbing about—doing all of those things she’d loved to do, even to hosing down the house from the outside. But when she tried to picture herself doing the same things at 1730 Pinnacle, she didn’t do nearly as well. “Things got all muddy.” We thought this meant that 458 had many more pleasant connotations for her than did 1730 Pinnacle, our current residence.

(A note: While taking my usual walk on Crestwood Avenue at about 10 PM last night, I saw a herd of eight deer cross the street; they moved into a small patch of woods that I judged to be just below Stamps’ house on Pinnacle; if they continued on that course they might have ended up crossing Pinnacle right by our own house. [...]

[...] There is no pinnacle or end of creativity. [...]

1730 Pinnacle Road

[...] I’m finishing typing this session now at 8:15 p.m., preparatory to going across Pinnacle Road. [...]

(This session came about quite unexpectedly just before midnight, after we’d had company—the Leahys from the end of Pinnacle Road; Jane had called them at supper time this evening and asked them to visit us. [...]

[...] I have, in regard to the latter, solved several challenges with painting—from the time we moved to Pinnacle Road—and now feel that I have a clear road there as to how I want to do things into the indefinite future, etc. [...]

Your own knowledge, desire, purpose and intent tuned you into some such communications, so your concern for Joe Bumbalo (our next-door neighbor on Pinnacle Road) tuned you into his physical and emotional state at that time.

[...] I learned that I’d also confused something Jane had told me about her visualizing efforts yesterday: she’d meant she saw herself washing down 1730 Pinnacle, not 458 West Water Street. [...]

(After I’d had a nap Jane remembered to tell me that this morning, after hydro, she’d had an “experience” in which she’d seen herself baking a cake in the kitchen at 1730 Pinnacle, putting it in the oven, and so forth. [...]

[...] The scene was at a neighbor’s down the street we lived on—not Pinnacle Road—where there was a party going on. [...]

[...] And I add that Laurel and I were married at our home on Pinnacle Road in Elmira at 9:30 PM on December 31, 1999 - just in time for the new millennium.
