(A very successful session was held this evening for Claire Crittenden and Pat Norelli. The session was taped by Pat. She is a teacher in a Boston high school and has taken the tape to school; when she sends a transcript of the session it will be given below.
(The balance of the session was material Seth delivered to be played for Pat’s high-school class of exceptional students, and is, we think, excellent. The students are acquainted with Seth through Pat’s efforts, and this enables Seth to get to the point concerning the idea of the material.
(This material was given in two sessions of about 20 minutes each. We thought the session ended with the first 20-minute delivery, but after a break Jane returned as Seth for more material. The presence of witnesses encouraged her; strong voice effects began to show themselves, the best in many sessions and toward the end of the Pat’s delivery, Jane achieved a projection to the Boston classroom of Pat’s special class. In many ways Jane regards this session as one of the best ever. Toward the last part of the session her delivery was very strong and forceful; very fast and emphatic and impressive; her eyes were closed for the most part, and she was really out.
(Seth’s pace was very fast in here, and I missed some material. I did not ask Seth to slow down, both in the interests of spontaneity for Jane, and because Pat was recording the session. Seth now told Pat she had writing ability, especially for historical works, and that she would do well in writing and history connected with the Tudor period.)

[...] After though, Pat Norelli (I think it was her, though she didn’t look like Pat particularly) myself and two young men were climbing along a high ledge toward the top of the gigantic theater. [...] Pat went on along the ledge to where it met the front wall but I was frightened of falling and stayed where I was with the young man who was my companion, When Pat reached that point, the young man who was her companion did something.... [...] I yelled “Pat;” meaning to wait, she responded, grinning. [...]
(A note here: Seth told Pat that she had a strong interest in history which could be utilized along with a writing ability; then Pat told us that she majored in history in college; we just took it for granted she majored in English since she teaches it.
(The Seth voice did come through to some considerable extent in the last portion of the session addressed to Pat’s students. [...]
[...] During this session, part of it at least, I seemed to be viewing a classroom, presumably Pat’s; at first I looked down upon the room from above, then moved to a vertical position, searching for a particular seat. [...]
(Definitely Pat’s desire for the special session was a contributing point. [...]
(Pat could offer no confirmation concerning H B. Pat also said that two women were in her honors class when she played the tape; one of these being a Radcliffe student teacher. Pat also played the tape for a girl friend of hers outside of school: Ellen Tabb, and Ellen’s friend, Adrian, a male. This makes a total of three women and one male who have heard the tapes besides Pat, whereas Seth names two men and a woman.
[...] Pat did visit us on the 15th, and confirmed much of Seth’s data given here. [...] The boy in the third seat near a center row is, according to Pat, named Dave Lounsburg. [...]

[...] (Meaning Pat Norelli.)
(This afternoon Jane received a letter from Pat Norelli, in Boston. [...] Pat enclosed with her letter a list of three questions from a friend, Roger, dealing with mathematical formulae and requesting also that Seth give his mother’s maiden name. A fourth question, from a girlfriend of Pat’s, asked Seth about the Bahai faith. Jane read the four questions over—the formulae were meaningless to her—before the session, but we doubted if Seth would have time to deal with Pat’s letter and the questions in one session.
[...] At 8:55 PM Jane received a flash which she thought to be from Seth: “Pat is insisting on using the gift of life in a certain way.”
[...] Throughout the session Seth spoke to me directly as though I were Pat instead, as he explains later.)
(As mentioned before, throughout the delivery Seth spoke to me in a direct manner, as though I were Pat. [...]

[...] Claire Crittenden, Carl Watkins, Jane and I, along with Pat Norelli, from Boston, were joined by Bill and Peg Gallagher,Doug Hicks, Danny Stimmerman, Curt Kent and Peg’s brother Dick and his wife Carol, for an even dozen present, at our apartment.
(At the same time the table was performing so well, Jane was standing a few feet away, talking to it in a loud voice very intently, rooting very strongly for the table to resist Bill and Pat’s really strong efforts to level it out. [...]
[...] Most likely Bill and Pat exerted so much downward thrust that the table was at last overwhelmed. [...]
[...] Pat (Arnold), who has not attended lately, psychically is present. [...] In those terms Pat, who did not attend the physical class, attended a probable one; and Carol, who was not present for the end of the official class, was a participant in the probable one.
[...] Carol did not come into the room, however, but lingered with her sister (Pat) in the hall.
(A hassle began developing last Thursday, involving Pat Golbitz at Pocket Books, Grace Bechtold at Bantam, and Tam, John Nelson, and Jane at Prentice-Hall. [...]
(Before the session Jane said she was getting stuff on John, Pat, etc., and I expressed interest in hearing it. [...]
