May or June, 4th or 5th, the early portion of May or June, also connected here, and one of the men of the five will start a new undertaking, I believe with a different kind of merchandise entirely; having some, though perhaps a distant, connection with fabrics.

(Pause.) You were a member of a band of such men, dealing honorably enough with wares, but cut off from the main stream of civilized endeavors. [...]

[...] Around you, you found, were men who had traveled other roads—your neighbors, and you felt yourselves to be aliens. [...]

[...] You found yourselves surrounded, however, by men whose life-style is completely alien to your own. [...]

[...] Attending the party were Bill, Gary, Larry, and two other men Bill did not know. Thus, as Seth stated, Bill “was in a group with four men.”

[...] I also believe he was in a group with four men, maybe something to do with a string of shells, also.”

(Pause.) This self-disapproval does not hound you more than other men. [...]

Such young men grow up with the desire to be independent, while at the same time they also experience the natural drive for cooperation and dependence upon others. [...]

[...] (Long pause.) Your establishment, being cleared of working men, will also help clear the air. [...]

(To me:) You spoke today, or this evening, about some [world] statesmen who are not young at all, and men and women who do not only achieve (pause), but who open new horizons in their later years. [...]

First: “In those early days men and women did live to ages that would amaze you today—many living to be several hundred years old. [...]

To one extent or another, Ruburt then speaks in the sessions for all peoples, for the united psyches that overflow with thoughts and feelings that are registered by the wind, giving voice to the private, intimate, yet connected lives of men and women throughout the centuries — so that many people, listening to or reading the sessions, hear their own inner voices also, and feel the contours of their own natures, and universal nature as well.

Many men look forward to having sons, while at the same time they revere marriage as a necessary part of respectable family life, and also feel that marriage is somehow degrading — particularly to a male — and that the sex act itself is only justified if it brings him an heir.

[...] There is a difference in the overall health patterns in men and animals because of the quite diverse nature of their physical experience. [...]

In certain eras, the lines between the species were not completely drawn, and there were long periods where men and animals mixed and learned from each other. [...]
