(After supper today Jane said that for the first time in some little while she went to the john without a feeling of panic. [...]

[...] Jane still hasn’t been going to the john more than three times a day, nor have we yet tried point 4 on my list: taking one step a day with the aid of the typing table. [...]

[...] Get up, to john, bedroom, do dishes, go through living room without holding onto things, sit down. [...]

(This morning while I was at work, John Bradley stopped by briefly while on a hurried business trip to give Jane some information relating to a prediction of a narcotics scandal that Seth had predicted for Elmira in the 63rd session, of June 17. [...]

(It seems that last night John, while eating in a restaurant with a friend we do not know, was informed by this friend that the Elmira police had taken into custody a man who had been making the rounds of the Elmira pharmacies with a forged prescription for narcotics. [...]

(John also wanted to call to Jane’s attention a news item in the Elmira paper for Aug. [...]

[...] It will be recalled that Philip is the name of John Bradley’s entity. [...]

[...] Neighbor John Bumbalo took delivery of the package yesterday afternoon while I was at the hospital, and brought it over as soon as he saw me drive into the garage. [...]

[...] For we learned that of the four Gospels (according to Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John, in that order), some scholars believe that Luke and John can be read as stating that Christ’s resurrection and ascension took place on the same day. [...]

[...] Even the authorships of the Gospels according to Matthew and John are now being questioned. [...]

[...] John Pitre phoned this evening from Louisiana, with three questions for Jane. These concerned John’s uneasy feeling about his wife Peg, last week; the strange loss of feeling in his legs in hot weather; and an effort to learn something from Seth about a pilot who disappeared some four years ago in a light plane near John’s hometown, Franklin, LA, which is close to the Gulf of Mexico.

(Jane’s symptoms, especially her walking ability, have become much worse since the last private session was held—so much so that all of a sudden it seems to be a question of how much longer she can continue to make it to the john here in the house. [...]

(Jane now spends much time afraid that she won’t be able to manipulate in the john, so it seems that now is the time to go on to other modes of help than our own and Seth’s, I said—unless these last few sessions can help, unless they can add an understanding and/or stimulus that will bring her some relief. [...]

(Today Jane received a call from John Pitre of Franklin, Louisiana, concerning John’s ill wife Peg; thus there was a chance Seth would talk about Peg, but this did not develop.
