[...] But I picked up that Seth would go into those dreams tonight, and I asked that he give the best information that he could.”
[...] The Spazianis have known about the Seth material from the beginning, and have read some of the earlier sessions; indeed, it was Jane’s borrowing Jim’s Ouija board in November 1963, that led to the flow of the Seth material.
(I would like to remind the reader here that when Seth uses the term “area,” he means what up until recently he has called a “level” of the subconscious. [...] Seth has mentioned this at various times.
(Thinking the session now over, I then brought up the thought that I suspected a distortion in Seth’s interpretation of the first dream, where he stated that before being born I saw my brother Loren as a woman. I thought I recalled Seth stating many sessions ago that Loren had been three times a man, but never a woman, and had a woman’s life ahead of him.
(“Good evening, Seth.”)
[...] She was introduced to the Seth material by John Bradley, who has witnessed several sessions and read much of the material himself. [...]

(A companion prediction to this one, made by Seth at the same time and concerning the outbreak of a narcotics investigation in the Elmira area, within three months, developed as predicted.)
(Jane has just finished the final typing of her own The World View of Paul Cézanne, and now I’m ready to type the finished version of Volume I of Seth’s “Unknown” Reality. As I explain in the Introductory Notes for his book, we decided to publish Seth’s very long manuscript for “Unknown” in two volumes. [...]
(At the same time, Seth marched right along on this book, Psyche. Jane jokingly commented that she wished Seth could type too.)
(“Good evening, Seth.”)
(During break I wondered aloud if Seth’s entity, the larger Seth personality, was listening in on Seth’s data, to pick it up effortlessly as it was being given.
(Jane began speaking as Seth in trance at a rather rapid rate.)
(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] Seth.”)
In later years it’s become impossible for me to close my eyes to the multiple pressing differences that exist between Seth’s explanation of the nature of reality, and of our own private experience of it. In this book, Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment, for example, Seth portrays us as a vibrant, well-intended species—a physically attuned kind of consciousness beautifully tailored by our own cosmic ingredients to live lives of productivity, of spiritual and physical enjoyments, with each individual life in charge of its own fate and adding to the potentials of all other life as well.
If life has such great potentials, as Seth maintains, if it began—and begins (and continues to begin) at such rich creative and productive levels—then why did our experience so often make it seem that we struggled against unknowing or uncaring cosmic forces, or that we were at the most so ignorant of our own source and creativity that our hands were tied, or that we were forever shut off from our natural heritage?
[...] So again, how did that experience fit into Seth’s Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment?
[...] The old established explanations had faltered, and finally seemed almost incomprehensible, while the new explanations of Seth seemed beyond my reach, at least in certain areas—areas that were vital to physical and psychic peace. [...]
(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] This morning I showed Pete Saul Cohen’s letter of late last week, re Steve’s idea for a Seth Production Co. [...]
[...] If she had a session today, I wanted to tell Seth that what I was writing here today was much more than I’d expected to be able to write two weeks ago, say, or even a week ago.... [...]
(“Afternoon, Seth.”)
Jane, then, wrote those two poems 16 days before she dictated the last session for Seth’s The Nature of the Psyche on April 4, 1977; one month before she began dictating Mass Events on April 18, 1977; two years and two months before she began God of Jane on May 6, 1979; two years and six months before she began dictating the Preface for Dreams on September 25, 1979; two years and eight months before she came up with the idea for If We Live Again on November 15, 1979; three years and five months before she began dictating Seth’s material on the magical approach to reality in Dreams on August 6, 1980; four years before she began dictating Seth’s sinful-self material in that book on March 11, 1981; four years and three months before she began coming through with her own sinful-self information on June 17, 1981; and four years and five months before, on August 26, 1981, she wrote the poem in Note 6 for Session 936 of Dreams: “Something in me / ebbs and tides, / as if I let myself / for a while / be washed away / out to sea / while leaving / some spidery shell / upon the shore /….”
[...] Once again Jane used many very long pauses as she spoke for Seth. I think that through Seth tonight she beautifully discusses several of her key insights into the nature of reality—and I don’t think it has ever been done any better.)
[...] Her “undeviating direction,” expressed in Poem One below, is directly related to the material about her that I quoted from Seth in Note 6 for Session 931, in Chapter 9 of Dreams: “Nothing, however, would have kept him at the sessions for this amount of time unless he wanted them.” (The session I cited had been held in February 1980, when Jane had been speaking for Seth for more than 17 years.)
(Seth at 10:28:) “You have been of excellent help to Ruburt lately. [...]
(A note: My own hunch is that there’s a good connection between Seth’s reincarnational points of power, cellular memory, and the coordinate points he discusses in Chapter Five of Seth Speaks: “These coordinate points act as channels through which energy flows, and as warps or invisible paths from one reality to another. [...] Also see the 593rd session in the Appendix of Seth Speaks.)
(During recent nights Jane has been aware of receiving book material from Seth, and of dictating it to me. [...]

[...] Jane’s delivery throughout this material was as forceful as it could be without increasing the volume of her Seth voice a great deal.)
(Several times during the last week I’d mentioned to Jane that we should get more information from Seth on her eyes—insisting upon more specific reasons why they were so protuberant. [...] Tonight I found out that Jane too had been dunning Seth—but mentally—about more on her eyes. [...] But I still thought it very strange for the eyes to cause problems if the body was in the process of healing itself, as Seth has so often said recently is the case. [...] I was ready to admit that the body could repair itself in ways that might be mysterious to us, but at the same time I certainly wanted additional reassurances from Seth that we were doing the right thing in going along with his information. [...]
[...] I mentioned to Jane that it would be fun if Seth could give us a little bit on Rubin’s reaction when he saw the book on Cézanne—not on its contents.)

(Here there was an exchange between Seth and me, in which I didn’t have to take notes. Seth said this chapter was intended as a change of pace from the long excerpts included in the book. [...] “Then I suppose you’ll want to handle question number eight later, too: Are you a medium for Seth II?”)
(As instructed by Seth in the last session, I had compiled a list of questions for this chapter. [...]
(Earlier today I told Jane that I was afraid the questions weren’t very representative of Seth’s book, and that to assemble a truly relevant list of them would require an intimate study of each chapter. [...]
(We sat for the session at 9:00, as we almost always do, but Seth didn’t appear with his usual promptness. [...]
(It will be remembered that in the unscheduled 184th session Seth said that Cosmopolitan Magazine would be interested in an excerpt from Jane’s ESP book, but that nothing would happen right away. [...] Seth had stated that Cosmo would return the material, but with a letter expressing interest.
(I believe the book of Jane’s that Seth refers to here is her new project, dealing with the Seth material itself. [...]
[...] We also wondered what Seth would have to say about the Cosmopolitan affair, and last night’s unscheduled session, witnessed by John Bradley.
(“Good evening, Seth.”)
(I mentioned to Jane a question I’d thought of during the session but hadn’t interrupted to ask: If the subconscious can reason, as Seth tells us, why doesn’t it understand that at times it can go too far sometimes?—that obviously the idea of selfprotection can be very damaging if carried to extremes. [...] Jane listened, but didn’t get anything from Seth in answer, so it’s for next time. She did say that Seth indicated that class helped her to some degree, in that she got approval from it, as in a family situation.)
(We wanted a session tonight on Jane’s problem, although we’d settle for something from Seth each time, along with his other book dictation, or whatever. [...]

[...]
[...] I also tried to keep in mind Seth’s recent reference to her own natural rhythms, thinking that if she didn’t want sessions just now, that might actually be part of the healing process.
[...] She began speaking for Seth with her eyes closed —but her voice was quite strong, comparatively speaking, with a minimum of tremor. [...]

[...] Brad stated his desire that Seth would more explicitly set forth the steps which we should follow. Seth interjected the following.)
Now despite my gentle, good-humored remarks about the personality you call Seth II, let me tell you something—You cannot translate the dimensions of his personality. [...]
[...] Seth referred to the painting I’m working on of my dream of last August 16, — [...] Seth and Jane have both analyzed this excellent dream.2 Today I’d shown Jane how far I’ve progressed with a charcoal drawing based upon the dream, with a little preliminary color added to some parts of it.
1. In October 1979 Jane and I saw, to our dismay, that the Dutch publisher of the translation of Seth Speaks had violated his contract with Prentice-Hall by making many unauthorized cuts in the book. [...] After hearing from Jane and me and her editor, Tam Mossman, the Dutch publisher agreed to market a new, uncut translation of Seth Speaks this year. [...]
