[...] Seth, she said, felt very pleased with himself when he referred to the fifth dimension material; as if to say, “See, this material is why I couldn’t explain any more of the fifth dimension to you, way back in the 12th session.”

(“Good night, Seth.”

(She reported that at the end of the session she received a strong emotional feeling from Seth. [...]

[...] Among them was this insight, which Seth related to his discussion of the Cinderella fairy tale:)

1. At first Jane and I thought Seth was in error when he said “chariot” instead of “coach” or “carriage.” [...]

3. The 806th session proper can be found in Chapter 2, but in the deleted portion of that session Seth came through with some comments relative to children that fit in well with his material this evening: “The point of power is in the present. [...]

(“Seth, can you tell us the meaning of the vision I had the other night, in which I saw a man walking?”

(“Seth, how many worlds do we remember within?”

(“Good night, Seth.”

[...] I began the drawing in reference to an image Seth had conjured up in an earlier session on the fifth dimension. [...]

(“The same to you, Seth.”)

[...] Today when Seth mentioned it she hadn’t seem distressed, though, so perhaps that memory can be put to good constructive use by us now.)

(“I had something from him [Seth] earlier,” she said, “but you weren’t here....” [...]

(Jane’s delivery had been sporadic in an odd way, her Seth voice subdued, making me feel that she could lose the session at any moment by slipping off into sleep. [...]

[...] She had the feeling that Seth had “taken care” of her somehow this evening, putting to rest her concern over witnesses. I showed her our growing list of psychological time experiences, in the hope that Seth would discuss them tonight. [...]

(Yesterday Jane told me of the message she thought she had received from Seth. In it Seth compared our idea of space travel to traveling from the basement of a building to the top floor; and for a building he used as an example the ancient Tower of Babel.)

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

(Last night, incidentally, Jane was again busily at work on Seth’s book in her sleep, dictating material that we haven’t actually gotten to yet.

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] Seth mentioned probabilities in connection with Rooney, too.

(Soon we’ll be able to start sending out Seth’s own letter to some of our correspondents; he dictated it in the 633rd session. [...]

(“Good evening Seth.”)

[...] Here again, Seth postulates inner mental counterparts of organic phenomena.

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] After delivering a couple of pages on other matters, Seth closed out the session at 11:40 P.M.

(Once again Seth surprised us by indicating that the previous two sessions should be considered a part of Psyche — and once again we saw that he’d let our questions lead him precisely where he intended to go in any case! [...]

The images and forms Seth speaks about in that session would not disappear when you banished your own hallucinations, as mentioned earlier. In the next session, Seth explained more about root assumptions and for the first time mentioned psychedelic experience in connection with projection.

Seth has more to say about hallucinations and objects in Session 287 for September 21, 1966, and perhaps the first part of the following excerpts helps explain my experience. Seth was talking about basic reality in the dream state.

(I read the last sentence aloud, and Seth-Jane continued.)

(End at 11:24 p.m. Seth referred to some writing Jane did today on her long-range theoretical project, Aspect Psychology. [...]

[...] She wasn’t sure she wanted me to put this down, but she felt that one of Seth’s experiments might involve her opening her eyes while she was sitting down in a deep trance—so that Seth might look out of them.)

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

(“Good night, Seth.”

(This afternoon I’d suggested that she might like a word from Seth on her mother’s present situation—meaning that if her mother now had more insight as to her treatment of her daughter, this knowledge might help Jane feel better about her own reactions to her mother. [...]
