(Jane’s question arose out of material in the 560th session in Chapter Fourteen: She wanted to know the name of the third personality making up the three-part Christ entity that Seth has postulated. [In Chapter Eighteen of Jane’s own book, The Seth Material, Seth gave as members of this entity Christ, of course, and John the Baptist.] I told Jane now that I thought Seth intended to go into this whole matter much more thoroughly later in this book.
(“So am I, Seth, but you know I was busy. [...]
[...] I had wondered why Jane, rather than dictating to me, could not just sit down and write out the messages from Seth.)
(“Seth, last night Jane had a lot of confused dreams, in which she seemed to be getting or giving instructions in life readings.”)
(Here, I was trying to lead Seth on.)
[...] I suspected Seth could tell us a most fascinating story here. [...] I suppose my readiness was at least partially founded upon the idea that it would be a good thing for Jane to speak through Seth about other matters occasionally than her symptoms and related topics. [...]
(“Good afternoon, Seth.”)
[...] It seemed that once again the body’s natural defense mechanisms were being interfered with, according to Seth — but then, why were we here to begin with? [...]

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”)
(Usually we keep the records of her ESP class in a separate set of three-ring binders, but Jane wanted to insert this one as part of Session 393 in our “regular” sessions: She wanted to show Seth discussing a subject that was emotionally very important to a class member—Audrey Shepherd—whose adopted son had died by drowning last summer.)
[Seth:] In a previous life he was your son by blood. [...]
3. At first, as I typed this session from my notes a couple of days later, I thought that Seth had contradicted himself here, for earlier in the session he’d stated that “the other creatures of the earth actually awakened before man did, and relatively speaking, their dream bodies formed themselves into physical ones before man’s did.” Then I came to think that Seth actually meant that man has consciously separated himself from his dream body to a greater degree than other creatures have—that even though those other entities became “physically effective” before man did, they still retain a greater awareness of their dream bodies than man does. I’ll try to remember to ask Seth to elaborate upon this point, although I also think he alludes to it later in this session.
[...] After giving a few notes for Jane and me, Seth ended the session at 10:13 P.M. “I can’t remember the session now, but I think I covered everything I got from him yesterday and today,” Jane said.)
(One of the letters, from a doctor in Canada, referred us to an article in Scientific American in which a discussion of the many-worlds view of quantum mechanics clearly vindicated a number of Seth’s ideas. [...] However, I doubt if the author, a professional philosopher, had any idea of backing up Seth; pardon my skepticism. [...]
(“Good evening, Seth.”)
(Concerning Jane’s writing, and her use as a basis of it of the Seth material, and what she has learned through personal experience as a foundation.)
[...] Jane said Seth was very affectionate at the end.)
(Jane reports that as she delivers Seth’s messages now, she does not hear the words within before speaking them aloud; rather now she talks along without knowing consciously what she will say from one word to the next. [...] The only time she will hear words within before speaking them aloud, is when Seth has paused during a delivery and is about to resume.
(By 8:45 this evening, Jane could feel Seth “pushing at her,” ready to begin. And at the end of the session three hours later, while in bed, she caught additional phrases from Seth but promptly shut them off. [...]
(“Good evening, Seth.”
(Jane was already receiving Seth within, so she laid the board aside and began to pace and dictate, as usual.)
[...] Spontaneous Seth session, following a period of working with the table, in which pressure built up to the point where the table finally broke, working through A A)
(When Claire, Pat, Curt, Danny, Carl, Jane and I were left, Seth returned briefly after Carl and I had been discussing reincarnation to some extent. [...]
(“Good night, Seth.”
