“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(To resume: Sue Mullin, now Sue Watkins, one of Jane’s ESP class members, left three questions last night for Seth to answer when possible. [...]

(I now asked Seth: “Can you say a little bit about Sue’s first question, about the astral body of the fetus?” Jane had read Sue’s questions some time earlier, but she didn’t know I was going to ask any of the questions this evening.)

[...] Finally she said she felt Seth around. [...]

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”)

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

([John:] “You do what you want to, Seth.”)

[...] A brief note: The two women Seth referred to are Dorothy [George Rhoads’ lady] and Cathy Poklinkowski. [...]

[...] Dorothy never did come down to see Jane for the reasons Seth mentioned—Cathy saw Jane a few times and that was that —Jane ended up in the hospital in a few weeks.)

(It is Seth’s interpretation of Jane’s very interesting dream of this morning, and was given after he had finished dictation for the evening on Chapter 22 of his book: Seth Speaks—A Goodbye and an Introduction.

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”

[...] She took a couple of aspirin, and we waited to see if Seth would return to comment. [...]

(“Good night, Seth. [...]

(Seth begins his discourse on Harvey McIntyre’s dream. [...]

(Seth withdrew, and there was a ten minute break.)

[...] For the first time in a session, Seth remarked last night that Jane has been able to open herself up to healing energy from you and the people you have asked for help on Jane’s behalf. [...]

[...] Perhaps in an epilogue for the Seth book we have in the works now, Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment. [...]

[...] I am aware, for example, of your Seth and of your Seth II. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] She said she could see how to do the exercises while Seth was describing them.

[...] I thought the remarks would bring forth some response from Seth, but since a shorter session had been announced I didn’t think such a lengthy response would materialize.

[...] Jane said that at some time when Seth explained the two approaches she strongly felt what he meant.

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] Seth, she said, could have cheerfully continued unabated. [...]

(Jane, as Seth, leaned forward, smiling.) Do you grow weary?

[...] I had no doubts that Seth could speak all night; the only limitations here were our own. [...]

[...] I asked that Seth comment.

[...] Again, I wanted Seth to comment.

[...] It’s part of the rhythmic healing process going on in her body, as Seth described it recently, moving through different areas successively, followed each time by new releases. [...]

[...] Again, I asked that Seth comment on it all.)

[...] Once again Jane spoke for Seth while seated on the divan. [...]

(I was about to ask Seth what the errors were when the phone rang, interrupting the session. [...]

(“Good night, Seth. [...]

[...] Instead, Seth discussed the use of X-rays in relation to health matters. [...]

(As mentioned in other Seth books, Jane has her own physical hassles. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] Seth called for a break here because the telephone started ringing, we’d forgotten to turn it off before the session. [...]

(This morning, following the suggestions Seth gave in the session Saturday night, Jane and I embarked upon a new program of suggestion through using the pendulum, writing down feelings, and so forth. [...]

[...] We wanted Seth to comment this evening.)

[...] In larger terms, Seth’s admonition to “let go the effort” is very important.

(Later in the day, Jane said she’d received some very interesting insights—possibly from Seth—about her mystical nature as it reacted to and with our world. [...]

(Before the session I reminded Jane that we wanted something from Seth on her adverse reactions to the stronger-than-aspirin pills she’s been experimenting with lately: Tylenol, etc. [...]

(We also discussed a letter Jane had received today from a young man who’d visited us unannounced a couple of months ago; he thinks he’s being bugged by nasty voices from outer space; before that he’d insisted that Seth was speaking through him. [...]

[...] There must still be much we don’t know, I concluded —-many things that Seth hasn’t even touched upon yet, and that are undreamed of by us from our viewpoint. [...]

[...] Jane said she had “strong, definite feelings” about the material tonight, as if Seth was trying hard to reach her beneath usual levels of consciousness. [...]

[...] Both John and Grace are upset also because Pocket Books thought about using the same photo of Jane on the cover of their book—The Coming of Seth—that Bantam had used on the cover of their issue of Seth Speaks.)

[...] There’s no need to go into all the complicated details here; it’s enough to say that the photos Bantam used in Seth Speaks were involved, especially the cover shot of Jane; as well as bids for Oversoul Seven between Pocket Books and Bantam; Jane’s fears that she’d end up committed for two more Seven books she hasn’t written yet; and various misunderstandings concerning ethics, expired option, and an offer to Jane to go to work for Simon & Schuster-Pocket Books, and to take Tam with her.

[...] Grace gave John sales figures for Seth Speaks which are much too low, so we really have little idea of how the book is selling, judging by those. [...]

(Sometimes my comments to Seth are rather cryptic because of the time it takes to speak to him and write out the statement at the same time. [...]

[...] I now knew which two Seth referred to; strangely enough, I hadn’t thought of them as being of the same personality at all. [...]

[...] This I wanted to prevent; even while she told me that Seth protected her, she began to whimper, eyes closed, and talk about my father.
